OUR PROGRAM

At Sardis Weekday School we strive to run a half-day preschool program that nurtures the entire child, stimulating the intellect, challenging the body, filling the spirit and above all, loving the child.

We are the preschool with heart.

Curriculum

From our Two-year-olds class upwards, we integrate an engaging curriculum called Zoophonics. In each class it is utilized in an age-appropriate way to introduce letters, sounds and even uses a catchy song! Our students think they are just playing but before they know it they have learned the basic building blocks for reading and writing.

Starting at age 2, our students also are exposed to hand-on science lessons through a curriculum called, ECHOS (Early Childhood Hands-On Science). These lessons focus on teaching fundamentals of science in a fun way introducing them to magnets, water, air and more!

Our TK class uses an innovative and multisensory program called Handwriting Without Tears. The Handwriting Without Tears curriculum draws from years of innovation and research to provide developmentally appropriate, multisensory strategies for early writing. The program follows research of how children learn best and includes materials that address all styles of learning.

Learning Through Play

We understand the importance of engaging students through play and love to watch them light up as they explore the word around them. Our program integrates play learning through a variety of activities and special classes that students attend weekly.

After School Activities

We are proud to offer our parents multiple opportunities throughout the year to enroll their children in after school extracurricular activities on our campus immediately after school is dismissed. These include but are not limited to Soccer Shots,  Amazing Athletes and dance programs.

It is a safe, convenient way to further engage and expose children to physical activity and creativity.
